Michaile J. Berg focuses her practice on complex corporate and real estate transactions, advising businesses, investors, and individuals through all stages of a transaction. Her experience includes corporate formation and governance, commercial contracts, employment agreements, leases, purchase and sale transactions, and licensing agreements, among others. Mrs. Berg is known for providing practical, business-oriented counsel designed to efficiently and successfully execute transactions while managing legal risk.
In addition to her transactional practice, Mrs. Berg represents clients in probate and estate planning matters. She assists individuals and families with estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and related planning documents, as well as probate and trust administration, with an emphasis on clarity, efficiency, and minimizing disputes.
Mrs. Berg has also served as counsel in arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and FINRA, as well as in mediations and select litigation matters in Arizona state and federal courts, including the Maricopa County Superior Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona.
Mrs. Berg has been recognized as a multi-year honoree in The Best Lawyers in America® for Peer Recognition. She has also been named among Top Attorneys in America and recognized as a Women in the Law honoree.
A Phoenix native, Mrs. Berg earned her Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she concentrated in business and commercial law.
Outside of her practice, Mrs. Berg enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.
