Chatham ‘Mae’ Cabelka
Raised in Auburn, Alabama, Mae Cabelka is a lifelong Auburn University fan – War Eagle! Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies and Master of Education in Education Policy. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she founded and served as president of the Christian Legal Society chapter. She worked as a student attorney at the Chicago Veterans Clinic, graduating in the top 30% of her class.
During law school, Mae pursued a specialization in Compliance and began her career in SEC Compliance following graduation. Despite these accomplishments, Mae’s heart has always been with family law.
Mae’s practice centers on all facets of family law, helping clients navigate a range of complex issues, including dissolution of marriage matters, child custody and support, seeking or defending spousal maintenance or alimony claims, property and debt division, and orders of protection. She believes in the Lord’s grace and mercy, reminding clients that He is present throughout their legal challenges. Her deep commitment to advocating for families during difficult times truly sets her apart.
