A Little Bit About Me

Anne Munsil Courchaine is an Associate Attorney with Provident Law ®. Her practice focuses on real estate, commercial litigation, and family law.

An Arizona native, Anne began her legal career as a Navy Judge Advocate, serving four years on active duty in Rhode Island, California, and Hawaii, where she specialized in advising senior military officers on legal issues including military justice, federal statutes and regulations, and government ethics. She was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson as part of the Rim of the Pacific Exercise, where she advised on matters of operational law and rules of engagement in the largest biannual multinational maritime exercise in the world. During her time in San Diego, Anne was appointed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of California, where she prosecuted violations of federal law occurring on Navy bases in the San Diego area. She is currently a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserves.

Anne earned her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she was ranked in the top third of her class. She graduated summa cum laude from Arizona Christian University with a B.S. in Biblical Studies. Anne was the Outstanding Graduate in the Biblical Studies Department in her class, and she also earned the Arizona Christian University Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award for her contributions to the ACU Women’s Basketball Team.

Anne is a member of the State Bar of Arizona.

More About Anne

In her free time, Anne enjoys running, hiking, reading, singing in choir and on worship team at church, and spending time with her husband and son. Prior to returning to Arizona, Anne and her husband, Tim attend Camelback Bible Church in Phoenix.
